Peace on Earth

The holidays can be a time where we miss our loved ones gathered with us around the dinner table, opening gifts or playing family games. When looking at this design, I picture a home filled with family & friends sharing stories & laughter. Looking outside through the delicate snowflakes that fall from the sky, stands a cardinal on a tree branch. A sign that our loved ones are near. The model was stitched on 36 count Dove Linen from Weeks Dye Works, using 1 strand of floss over 2 threads.
