Do you have a question about an existing order?  Please use your order receipt to track your order, there is a link provided in your receipt which will show you which items have been shipped or are still in process.

In the meantime, here are some frequently requested topics which may help you!

Orders and Checkout

Q: I need something not listed in the shop, how can you help? 

A: Send us a message using Contact Us or Call. We will see if it’s an item we can get for you! 

Q: How can I pay for my order?

For regular shop orders, we accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover) and PayPal. We do not accept personal checks or money orders.

Q: Do you accept returns?

We want you to be happy with your purchase!  We will accept the return of any unused/unopened items if you contact us within 7 days of receiving the item. Patterns cannot be returned to protect the copyright of the Designer. Please contact us if you need to make a return. Refunds will be issued for the purchase price of the returned items, less the prepaid return label. Shipping costs will not be refunded. Any order mistakes made by us will be fully replaced or refunded at no charge to you. 

Q: How can I decipher the terms used?

Preorder in the title of an item- this is not currently in stock but will be soon (its been ordered already and waiting on production). Patterns have a release date, Hand dyed fabrics have a turn around time of approximately 6-8 weeks. Some items, the description will tell you that you must call to place the preorder. To help avoid confusion when making your purchase it is best we talk so you can have all the information upfront. 

Backorder- this is not currently in stock but we are waiting for it to arrive. When you call and place an order for something that is showing as sold out, this would be a backorder. Other than Seraphim Fabrics and Fiber on a Whim, we are no longer allowing backorders to be placed online without speaking to us first.  

Q: How can I cancel my order?

We will not accept order cancellations. For items which are preordered and you'd like to cancel, you will be issued a gift card with store credit. Occasionally an item becomes unavailable or the wait time will be too long (6 months is too long to wait for a hand dyed fabric) and we will contact you to offer an alternative and adjust your order accordingly. 

Q: Why aren't you responding to my emails?

Most of the time, I am able to be prompt with answering emails within business hours. With some inquiries I will call to help with your request, choosing a frame size is not always black & white and other times I may need more information from you. 

When the inquiry is about "where is my order," I am often caught between packing & shipping open orders or responding to emails asking this question. The time it takes to answer "where is my order" prevents me from getting orders out the door, in your order confirmation there is a link that will tell you if it has been shipped or not, and the FAQs below can usually answer your question in regards to your open order.

When you place an order that includes a preorder item, everything will ship together, at one time, unless you placed two separate orders or we have talked and you're comfortable with the new shipping costs for dividing your order. 

Also, I am not going to engage in emails that are threatening. "If you don't do this, then I'm going to do that." Please help me with this, I want to get your items out to you but I am my only worker with occasional help from family. I don't want to be negative in my response to you and I can be rough on the edges so I tend to come across as callous. No good for either one of us. You're welcome to learn more about me or ask about this if you'd like to know more- there is always an opportunity to grow!


Q: Do you offer any discounts?

We occasionally offer sales and discount codes via social media and our email newsletter.

Q: I have already placed my order and I forgot to add a coupon code, can this be refunded back to me?

We are unable to retroactively apply discounts to orders.  Please ensure your coupon code discount is applied before checking out - if you enter a valid discount code the discounted amount will always appear on your order summary before checking out.  If a discount code is not working, please contact us before placing your order so we can help you out!

Q: I placed two separate orders and paid for shipping on both - can these be combined?

Due to our shipping workflow, we are unable to combine separate orders to ship together after the orders are placed or refund any shipping costs.  

Q: Is my online payment secure?

The orders placed at JTStitchingCorner.com are processed via Shopify and PayPal.  All transactions are secure and encrypted, exceeding online security standards. 

Shipping

Q: How soon will you ship my order?

Generally we will ship your order within 5-7 business days unless otherwise noted. Business days are Monday-Friday although we occasionally will ship orders on Saturday to keep up with demands. Preorder items will ship within 2 business days of arrival. If you’ve called to order an item which is backordered, this will also ship within 1-3 business of the items arrival. If you require items by a certain date, we recommend contacting us before placing your order to see if we can accommodate your deadline. Holidays, backorders, sales and a high volume of orders may affect the time it takes to ship your order, and we do not guarantee processing times.  

Q: Do you ship internationally?

We do offer worldwide shipping via USPS First Class International Mail.  Customers are responsible for any customs fees, VAT or taxes which may apply.  Your package will arrive with applicable customs forms with the value of your items marked as "Merchandise" as reflected on your store receipt. There is one product which we are forbidden from selling internationally and you’ll be contacted about cancelling that item should the need arise. 

Q: If I purchase more than one item in a single order, will combined shipping automatically calculate?

You bet!  When you add multiple items to your cart, shipping charges will be automatically combined. 

Sales and Discounts

Q: The coupon code I am trying to use isn't working, help!

Please double-check that the coupon code is still within the valid date range and is being applied to the correct items in your cart.  If you're still experiencing issues, please email us at Jessica@JTStitchingCorner.com and we will get it taken care of!

Q: I missed a sale...is there any way I can still receive the discount?

Our sale prices and promotions are only valid for the original dates offered.

Product Information

Q: Why are there some Omanik Frames, Stands, and Accessories available to order and not in stock?

Due to the very high demand for these amazing frames, they sell very promptly. We generally receive a shipment every 120 days (this accounts for shipping delays) and adjust our semi-monthly order based on the size frame you’d like to purchase. COVID and the war in the EU have created additional delays with production so wait times can vary, we have to respect how other areas may have different restrictions and policies compared to ours in the US. 

Q: Why are some items missing their photos?

A: We are currently working at updating our website and taking a full inventory so our logo has been used as a place holder while we gather new photos and update the quantities of items. It's a way to remind us which items need our attention the most. You are welcome to order those items and if they're in stock, they'll ship along with the other items in your order. 

Q: Why are some items available to order and not in stock?

A: We understand at times that waiting for a fabric or thread color might seem to take a long time, and we totally get it! We are sometimes asked why fabrics must be dyed on demand. While in a perfect world we would absolutely love to have everything available for immediate dispatch, it is somewhat difficult. Therefore, in order to react to changing demands, trends, and avoid limiting customers' choices, we allow for back orders and preorders on certain items. For items which could have a longer wait time, it is noted in the item description and we will also contact you to keep you appraised of any delays. We appreciate your understanding and we hope this gives you the greatest flexibility in ordering the perfect items for your project. 

 

Q: Why are there so many half-yard pieces of fabric and so few fat quarters?

The fabric is cut and stored in half yard pieces. It was just a way to make keeping track of inventory a little faster. Anytime you order a fat quarter, even if it shows as out of stock, we simply cut the half-yard pieces and fulfil your order. Fabric cannot be "un-cut" and this method just works for us.

Q: The fabric I received is a little bit smaller than the measurements stated on your website?

The fabric measurements we provide refer to the pre-dyed size of the fabric.  Shrinkage is normal during the dyeing process and some fabrics may shrink a bit more than others.  If you are unsure if a piece of fabric will be big enough for a project, we recommend purchasing the next largest size to be safe.
